Adria Gifts aims to provide an understandable and usable experience to as wide a range of users as possible, including people who use a keyboard, screen reader, content magnification or other assistive technologies.
1. Who operates the online store
The Adria Gifts online store is operated by Mad About It d.o.o. za trgovinu i usluge, with its registered office at Dugoselska ulica 10, 10000 Zagreb, Croatia, OIB: 66978587529.
2. Status and purpose of this Statement
Mad About It d.o.o. is a microenterprise providing an e-commerce service. Under Article 4(2) of the Croatian Act on Accessibility Requirements for Products and Services (Zakon o zahtjevima za pristupačnost proizvoda i usluga), that Act does not apply to microenterprises providing services.
We nevertheless publish this Accessibility Statement voluntarily to promote transparency, improve the user experience and make it easier to report barriers.
We use the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 as a development objective and reference framework, with the aim of progressing towards Level AA. This is not a claim of full conformance, nor is it a confirmation or certificate of conformity.
3. Current status
The online store has undergone a basic internal assessment of key public pages; no full independent audit has been carried out. Assessment date: 28 August 2026.
Because no full independent audit has been carried out, we do not currently claim full conformance with WCAG or another technical accessibility standard.
4. Our efforts
When maintaining and developing the store, we aim to:
- use an understandable content structure and clear headings, links and instructions;
- make key functions usable by keyboard and provide a visible focus indicator;
- provide text alternatives for important images;
- maintain readable contrast and allow content to be enlarged;
- associate labels with form fields and explain errors clearly;
- avoid relying on colour alone to communicate important information;
- provide understandable information about products, purchasing, delivery, returns, withdrawal, privacy and safety.
5. Known limitations
Certain theme elements and third-party applications, including sliders, pop-up panels, the basket and embedded forms, may have limitations in the accessible names of interactive controls, focus management, complete keyboard navigation or screen-reader announcements.
These limitations may not affect every user, device or assistive technology in the same way. We address them progressively, prioritising problems that prevent a purchase, withdrawal from a contract, contact or access to important information.

We record accessibility reports and consider them according to their severity and effect on the user. We will respond without undue delay and, where possible, tell you about a solution, temporary alternative or remediation plan.

We will update this Statement after significant changes to the theme, key functions or applications, and after a more extensive accessibility review.
