These Terms govern promotions, discount codes and other sales benefits offered in the Adria Gifts online store by Mad About It d.o.o. za trgovinu i usluge, with its registered office at Dugoselska ulica 10, 10000 Zagreb, Croatia, OIB: 66978587529.
1. Scope and promotion-specific terms
These Terms are permanent general rules. The specific terms of each promotion are published with the relevant banner or product or on a separate promotion page and form an integral part of these Terms.
Before each promotion begins, the following will be clearly published:
- its start and end time;
- the market in which it is valid;
- products or product groups included in the promotion;
- the type and amount of the discount or other benefit;
- how to obtain the benefit, including any required promotion code;
- any limits on quantity, availability or number of uses;
- rules on combining it with other promotions or codes;
- the effect of a partial return on the benefit received.
If specific terms differ from these general rules, the specific terms apply only to the relevant promotion. Neither set of terms restricts consumers' mandatory rights.
2. Prices and announcements of price reductions
When a price reduction is announced, the reduced price is accompanied by the lowest price that Adria Gifts applied to the same product during the 30 days before the reduction began. The percentage reduction is calculated by reference to that price.
A claim of a discount of up to a particular percentage is used only where it is true and its presentation does not mislead the customer about the number, importance or range of products to which the highest advertised discount actually applies.
Before confirming an order, the customer is shown the final price including VAT. Delivery charges and any other additional costs are shown separately before the contract is entered into.
3. Promotion codes and combining benefits
A promotion code is applied during checkout in accordance with the rules of the particular promotion. Before confirming an order, the customer should check that the code has been accepted and that the expected benefit and final price are displayed.
Promotions and discount codes cannot be combined unless the specific terms of a particular promotion expressly permit combination.
A promotion code has no monetary value, is not a means of payment and cannot be exchanged for cash. Specific terms may define its validity period, applicable products, minimum order value, number of uses and other objective restrictions.
If a benefit is obtained by purchasing a specified quantity of products, the specific terms state the required quantity, the product to which the discount applies, excluded products and the treatment of a partial return.
4. Stock, availability and fair advertising
A promotion remains valid until the end of its published period, or while stocks last only where this has been clearly stated in advance. Availability and stock information must be based on genuine, up-to-date data.
Adria Gifts does not use false deadlines, artificial countdowns, artificial scarcity messages, unverified customer ratings or claims of high demand that are not supported by genuine data.
If a product is exceptionally unavailable after successful payment, the customer is informed without undue delay. The amount paid is refunded unless the customer expressly accepts a suitable alternative.
5. Returns, complaints and withdrawal
A promotion does not restrict the customer's statutory right of withdrawal, right to make a complaint or other rights arising from a lack of conformity of the goods.
For a valid return, the amount actually paid for the returned goods is refunded. If a discount was granted for the order as a whole, it is allocated proportionately among the products included in the order.
If the objective conditions for a quantity-based or other benefit are no longer met after a partial return, the benefit may be recalculated only if that rule was clearly published before the purchase and is permitted by applicable law.

6. Obvious technical errors
An obvious technical error in a price, promotion code or promotion setting is handled in accordance with the Terms and Conditions and applicable law. This clause does not give Adria Gifts a right to cancel a properly concluded order arbitrarily or withhold a clearly promised benefit.
